A distinctive presence on the Italian hospitality scene, Lungarno Collection has luxury addresses in the most desirable districts of Florence and Rome. The brand Lungarno Collection was launched in 1995 as a hotel management company owned by the Ferragamo family. Each hotel has its own personality, drawing inspiration from urban culture, history and style to create highly personal experiences highlighted by elegance, striking design and attentive service.

 

Reporting to the Communication and Image Director, the Senior PR Account is going to be responsible for:

  • Being the daily point of contact with key media contacts
  • Developing industry, sector and product focused PR campaigns
  • Contributing to daily meetings, liaising and updating clients on PR activities
  • Keeping abreast of current PR trends and tools
  • Building client relationships and maintaining a network of media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople
  • Developing news angles, stories and pitches to further profile, products and services
  • Fulfilling Key Performance Indicators and growing accounts
  • Being involved in pitching for new business and developing PR proposals

 

The Senior PR Account will be involved in the following daily activities:

  • Managing a portfolio of media/journalist PR accounts
  • Providing a strategic counsel to aid PR and wide marketing campaigns
  • Providing comments and product or company information to the media (newspapers, magazines, radio, television and online news sites)
  • Building relationships with existing and new journalists
  • Building relationships with key media contracts
  • Dealing with the media, journalists and other members of the press
  • Providing innovative and creative ideas on press campaigns
  • Briefing clients and updating them on press campaigns
  • Analysing PR coverage and providing written reports

Requirements:

  • Great verbal and written communication skills, including the capacity to present
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Possession of a degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in PR
  • Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
  • Good industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks
  • Solid computer prowess
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of media needs and media relationships

Reporting to and cooperating with the Sales Events Manager, the Junior Event Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Planning, design, production, promotion, execution and overall co-ordination and profitability of an event
  • Helping in the preparation of all event documentation and coordinates with sales, property departments and customer to ensure consistent and high-level services in the short and long term
  • Assembling creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors
  • Support the event department in the weekly site inspection on property, meeting clients. Be able to create and maintain value-based relationship with daily initiative and sales calls
  • Work together with the Sales Events Manager to prepare event forecasts, including marketing plans, objectives and strategies, revenue reports
  • Communicate with other departments and assist with any administrative and organizational tasks given by the SEM
  • Participate to weekly follow up meetings with clients to work out the details of the event
  • Support with the organization and the definition of the event’s details, make sure that are correctly signed by clients and distributed to designated departments on a timely basis

Trainee performs an internship in the Event Department for a period of six months; the experience is focused on increasing levels of responsibility to fully understand the department activities. His/her responsibilities will include supporting the office in day-by-day tasks, learning the general procedures and activities of this area.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Report to the Sales Events Manager by supporting the activities of the Events Department
  • Respond and handle daily requests from clients by e-mail or phone calls
  • Plan and make site inspections on property

Reporting to the Corporate Director of HR & Quality, the HR Specialist (People Partner) will have as his / her responsibility the care and maintenance of close contact with the collaborators of Portrait Milano, as a guide and example, also operationally. Activities will include the search and selection of employees and trainees, including job advertisements and contacts with schools. He / she will take care of the welcoming of new collaborators, creation of induction programs, including administrative procedures. Particular attention must be paid to training, through the creation of a monthly calendar of courses: mandatory, behavioural, managerial, and updating. The HR Specialist will support the preservation of the quality linked to the Leading Quality Assurance and Forbes standards. His / Her responsibilities will also include the organization of staff parties, the coordination of annual assessments and evaluations, uniform fittings, contacts with administration agencies and with various collaboration partners.

 Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, she/he is responsible for:

  • Manages annual contracting and negotiations
  • Maximizes business and revenue opportunities
  • Develops strong relationships with contracted travel trade partners
  • Implements and executes sales action plan in coordination with DOSM
  • Maintains regular interactions with partners through sales activities and trainings (face-to-face or virtual)
  • Pro-actively suggests actions to reach and exceed set targets
  • Maintains accurate account information in OPERA on all new and ongoing leads and accounts, including solicitation efforts
  • Oversees FamTrips and site-inspections for travel trade accounts
  • Regularly updates action plans and account productions in coordination with DOSM
  • Communication with other departments and individual properties with regards to any operational queries
  • Any other duties reasonably assigned by DOSM

The IT Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensure critical systems, specifically Property Management System, Hotel Interfaces, HSIA, PBX and Food & Beverage Point of Sales computer systems are available and functioning.
  • Maintain user procedures and hardware knowledge for all systems in use within the Property.
  • Establish and maintain system security procedures with control requirements and corporate policies. Monitor and verify backups for all local systems to ensure protection from loss of data.
  • Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of system software, hardware issues and service requirements
  • Provide high level, effective and proactive support for end users, guest rooms and conference services
  • Responsible for Hotel network support & security, Active Directory maintenance, Local Server & Network Infrastructure maintenance (wired & wireless).
  • Administer Local Collaboration System, VPN connections and other communication tools

  • Assist the Corporate ITM in administering all IT property related maintenance and services contracts and support in establishing scope of the maintenance and services contracts.
  • Support Technical compliance on PCI, GDPR and other local legislative/financial/ regulatory compliances
  • PC and Printer and other hardware Installation and Maintenance
  • Verify endpoints patching
  • Completion and record of daily/weekly/monthly IT checklist for the Property
