Person in charge for the management and training of colleagues destined for his own station (demi-chef, commis and trainees), he transmits the company’s vision and values and supports the Chef for the required activities.

The Chef de Partie ensures to maintain a high level of service within the standards defined by the company, guaranteeing correct management with the aim of maximizing profit. He is autonomous in the preparation of the line, takes care of the presentation of the dishes with particular attention to detail, as required by the company’s standards. He guarantees the correct use and care of the machinery, as well as of the raw materials according to the standards established by the HACCP, taking care to use the various foods efficiently, in order to reduce waste. He is able to propose and present new dishes for the Menu, in agreement with the Chef.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in the same position
  • Autonomy in line preparation
  • Ability to directly manage raw materials
  • Independence in the management of orders for foodstuffs and supply items, control of goods in receipt and inventory management.

 The F&B Sales&Marketing Manager, is a key member of the global operations of Portrait Milano.

The person in charge will report to the the Sales and Marketing Director and will work closely to the Director F&B Portrait Milano and with all the key accounts related to the F&B.

Reporting to the DOSM, the F&B Sales&Marketing Manager is responsible for:

– Plan, develop and implement strategies to drive the revenue goals of the F&B Outlets.

– Develop and implement a marketing communications plan, tailor made for the F&B outlets ensure

–  Identify and monitor most effective communication channels to promote F&B outlets and special events

–  Elaborate a monthly/seasonal promotional calendar of activities and monitor ROI

–  Ensure effective internal communications to guarantee all relevant internal departments are kept informed of marketing objectives

– Create an effortless experience and build relations by answering questions about property history, facilities, services, and room accommodations to support the overall vision to be a luxury destination in Milan.

– Manage CRM database, entering leads, contacts, activities, traces; create and maintain customer profiles.

– Explore productive relationships opportunities with key local enterprise and corporate clients in the area (i.d. boutiques, offices, law firms, etc.).

– Identify and drive sponsorship agreements, partnership collaboration as well as co-marketing projects and liaise with all characters involved.

– Identify guest reservation needs and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue (i.d. cross selling and up selling).

– Explore F&B trends monitoring not just established trends, but also catching the initial seeds of what might become future trends (i.e. cocktails, food… etc).
– Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for special booking rules and requests, loyalty guidelines and case management.

– Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
– Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
– Support team to reach common goals.
– Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Requirements :

  • Previous managerial experience of at least two to four years in the same role in luxury hotels or luxury restaurants
  • Strong relationship and communication skills to build valuable relationships with staff members
  • Driven and ambitious to consistently deliver and exceed service standards.
  • Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards

The Maintenance Technician will take care of both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance in our Portrait Milano, dealing with plumbing systems, electrical installations, and rooms.

Reporting to and cooperating with the Sales Events Manager, the Junior Event Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Planning, design, production, promotion, execution and overall co-ordination and profitability of an event
  • Helping in the preparation of all event documentation and coordinates with sales, property departments and customer to ensure consistent and high-level services in the short and long term
  • Assembling creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors
  • Support the event department in the weekly site inspection on property, meeting clients. Be able to create and maintain value-based relationship with daily initiative and sales calls
  • Work together with the Sales Events Manager to prepare event forecasts, including marketing plans, objectives and strategies, revenue reports
  • Communicate with other departments and assist with any administrative and organizational tasks given by the SEM
  • Participate to weekly follow up meetings with clients to work out the details of the event
  • Support with the organization and the definition of the event’s details, make sure that are correctly signed by clients and distributed to designated departments on a timely basis
