Portrait Milano welcomes Piano City in its stunning setting, transforming the Piazza and its porticos into an open-air stage. A day entirely dedicated to the piano, in collaboration with Steinway & Sons, where music and architecture merge into an authentic atmosphere, rich in history and shared experiences.

Martina Meola

A young Italian pianist, born in 2012, and a student at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. She began her musical studies at the age of six in Moldova, and in 2024 she won the First Absolute Prize at the “Città di Minerbio” International Piano Competition, also receiving the Liszt Prize and the Special EMCY Award.

Aisa Ijiri

Following her sensational debut recitals at Tokyo Opera City, Carnegie Hall in New York, and Royal Albert Hall in London, Aisa Ijiri has established herself as an award-winning concert pianist and Steinway Artist. Hailed as “a special talent whose European sophistication, fierce passion, and poetic sentiment create an artistic atmosphere,” she continues to captivate audiences around the world. Aisa is also the Founder and Artistic Director of the Tokyo International Piano Association and the Montecatini Piano Festival.

Francesco Cavestri

Francesco Cavestri (Bologna, 2003) is a contemporary jazz pianist, composer, and producer. He graduated in jazz piano from the Conservatory of Bologna and furthered his studies at Berklee College of Music and The New School for Jazz in New York. He has released three albums in collaboration with international artists and has performed at major festivals and venues such as Bologna Jazz Festival, JazzMi, and Blue Note Milano. He was named the youngest Best New Talent in Italian Jazz by Musica Jazz magazine for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024), and was featured in Forbes Under 30. Alongside his concert activity, he is also committed to music education and production.
