Cake Couture celebrates the union of fashion and haute pâtisserie, two distinct worlds brought together by their shared devotion to the art of detail and the pursuit of aesthetic refinement.

Six iconic shoe designs by Salvatore Ferragamo, the “Shoemaker of Dreams”, are reimagined through the creative vision and exceptional craftsmanship of Executive Pastry Chef Cesare Murzilli, transforming into cakes.

With elegance and precision, Murzilli translates the defining details that have shaped fashion history into his edible masterpieces. Each dessert pays homage to the timeless design of these iconic shoes, weaving a unique narrative: from the vibrant charm of the Rainbow to the elegance of the Damigella, and the graceful allure of the Dama and Iride.

Every shoe finds new life in a confection that captures its essence. This ambitious project emerging from a collaboration with the Ferragamo Museum, to which the exquisite creations showcased belong, is far more than a collection of desserts; it is a journey through art and history, where every creation resonates with the echoes of tradition and the quintessential beauty of Italian craftsmanship.
