Pre-stay Privacy Policy  
Articles 13-14 EU Regulation no. 679 of 27 April 2016 "General Data Protection Regulation"

Dear User,

In its capacity as Data Controller, Lungarno Alberghi S.r.l. hereby informs you, pursuant to Articles13 and 14 of EU Regulation no. 679 of 27 April 2016 "General Data Protection Regulation" (hereinafter "Regulation"), that after completing the questionnaire, it may have access to information relating to you.

Types of personal data processed and purposes of the processing

We will process your data for the following purposes:

a)    your personal details, contact details and data relating to your stay and to your tastes and preferences will be processed in order to provide you with a high level of personalised service and an even better stay experience;

b)    your personal details and email address will also be processed in order to send you promotional communications, by email, regarding our services and offers.
We would like to point out that, apart from this information, no other personal details have to be provided (revealing your racial or ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, or political opinions, as well as personal data revealing your health status or sex life);

LEGAL BASIS, NATURE OF DATA PROVISION AND STORAGE PERIOD

• For the purposes referred to in point a), the legal basis is the performance of a contract to which you are a party or the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at your request. The legal basis is also the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to offer you a high-level hotel service and to speed up the process of collecting data relating to your tastes and preferences, so that you can enjoy them from the moment you arrive at the Facility.  If you refuse to provide this information, it will be impossible for Lungarno Alberghi S.r.l. to offer you a high-end personalised service. Your personal details will be stored for as long as required by current tax and accounting regulations. Data relating to your tastes and preferences will be stored for the duration of your stay.
• For the purposes referred to in point b), the legal basis is the consent you have given. We remind you that you can withdraw any consent you have given at any time, easily and free of charge, by using the "unsubscribe" function in all our newsletters or by writing to the email address: privacy@lungarnocollection.com. You are free to choose whether or not to give your consent, but failure to do so will make it impossible to receive our promotional communications and information.  Unless you withdraw your consent in advance, your data will be stored for a maximum of 4 years from your last interaction with the newsletter.

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

The data will be processed by staff, duly instructed and operating under the authority and responsibility of the Data Controller. Some of the information may be disclosed to the following parties:

• IT system support and maintenance companies; 
• Suppliers of software and platforms for recording and completing questionnaires intended to collect information relevant to stays at the facility;
• Third parties or companies that perform activities instrumental to the purposes indicated above (including communication and email services).

Only data strictly necessary for the performance of the relevant functions will be disclosed to the aforementioned recipients. A detailed list of these parties is available at the head office of the Data Controller and will be provided upon your request by writing to this email address privacy@lungarnocollection.com  

YOUR RIGHTS

We inform you that, with regard to this data, you may exercise your rights under CHAPTER III of the Regulation at any time. In particular, you have the right to ask the Data Controller for access to data concerning you, its rectification or erasure, the completion of incomplete data, and the restriction of processing; to receive data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; to withdraw any consent given and to object to the use of the data in whole or in part, as well as to exercise other rights granted to you by applicable regulations. You may exercise your rights by writing to the addresses indicated below.

Pursuant to Art. 77 of the Regulation, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if you believe that the processing violates the aforementioned Regulation.
