Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL)
Portrait Firenze is located in the heart of Florence's historic centre, within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). Guests arriving by car are authorized to access the ZTL in order to reach the hotel.
The vehicle's licence plate will be registered with the local authorities upon arrival at the hotel, allowing access to the restricted traffic area without incurring a ZTL-related fine.
Please note that the registration is valid exclusively for access to the ZTL and does not cover any other traffic violations, including driving in lanes reserved for buses, taxis, emergency vehicles or law enforcement.
Arriving from Northern Italy
If you are travelling from Milan, Bologna, or other destinations in Northern Italy, take the Firenze Scandicci exit from the A1 motorway and follow the signs towards Florence city centre.
Proceed towards Ponte alla Carraia and cross the bridge. Continue along Via del Parione, then Via delle Terme and turn right into Via Por Santa Maria. At the end of the street, turn right onto Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, where you will find Portrait Firenze at number 4, just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio.
Arriving from Southern Italy
If you are travelling from Rome, Arezzo, or other destinations in Southern Italy, take the Firenze Impruneta exit from the A1 motorway and follow the signs towards Florence city centre.
Cross Ponte San Niccolò and continue along Viale Michelangelo, Viale Galileo and Viale Machiavelli towards Porta Romana. Turn right into Via Romana and continue along Via Maggio. At the end of the street, turn left onto Lungarno Guicciardini and then right to cross Ponte alla Carraia. Continue via Via del Parione, Via delle Terme and Via Por Santa Maria. Before reaching Ponte Vecchio, turn right onto Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, where Portrait Firenze is located at number 4.
