On September 25, 2025, Portrait Milano hosted the cocktail reception for the presentation of The Phoenix Circle, an initiative promoted by Ara Lumiere with the support of the Hothur Foundation.
During the event, the journey of Ara Lumiere was shared—an Indian ethical and inclusive fashion brand that directly involves acid attack survivors, offering them a concrete opportunity for personal and professional rebirth. Through design, creativity, and craftsmanship, the project’s protagonists transform their experiences into strength, talent, and awareness, finding in fashion a new form of expression and economic independence.
Leading this transformation is Kulsum Shadab Wahab, an internationally renowned philanthropist whose commitment to female empowerment and inclusion has restored hope and dignity to countless women.
