Hotel Lungarno, one of the luxury hotels of the Lungarno Collection, has been undergoing renovation to interpret the art of hospitality: deep respect for Florence’s cultural and artistic tradition married to an innovative spirit with an eye to the future.
This stylstic synthesis has inspired the design of all of our luxury & design hotels, all located in the heart of Florence, overlooking Ponte Vecchio and other masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance.
With the same spirit, we began renovation work at Hotel Lungarno, with the goal of preserving its original architectural tradition: new furnshings and precious materials skilfully arranged to create true works of art.
This endeavor bears the signature of a well-known protagonist of Italian design: Michele Bönan, the Florentine architect who sets himself apart for his ability to bring old historical buildings back to life, giving them a contemporary touch, and whose design becomes harmony, as luxury turns into class and elegance. Architect Bönan has put his stamp on Florence’s most original and artistic hotels.
Spacious rooms that ensure comfort for our guests, suites with terrace overlooking the river or designed across levels to make your stay more romantic, glass terraces that yield amazing plays of light: this is Hotel Lungarno, a true living room in Florence’s beating heart.
On June 1, 2017, Hotel Lungarno, our hotel at Ponte Vecchio, reopens its doors to its guests and celebrates the event with a special Grand Opening, an offer reserved to those who want to be the first ones to discover and fully enjoy the results of our prestigous renovation. We are waiting for you!
