Ugolino Golf Course is one of the most impressive and beautiful natural golf courses in the world in Italy and offers different levels of difficulty.
In 1889 the English colony of Florence founded the Florence Golf Club and the first Italian Golf Association. Originally founded in the Cascine area, the golf course was transferred to the Osmannoro area after the first world war.
Between the 20’s and 30’s the idea of creating a new golf course took shape and in 1933 the Ugolino Golf Course was built on the Chiantigiana street by the English architects Blandford and Gannon.
The American author Chris Santella names the Ugolino Golf Course in his well known book ‘50 Places to Play Golf Before You Die‘.
Tee times at the Ugolino Golf Club should be booked in advance to ensure the special conditions available to guests.
The destination is the journey itself.

The cameras that will be used during the workshops are the Leica M Type 240 with lens 35 or 50, and the Leica TL with optical zoom 28-85.
When shooting with a Leica M system camera you will put into practice a different kind of photography.
The rangefinder cameras are fast, silent and very compact, so you can get closer to the action with the greatest discretion. The Leica M has intuitive controls and is simple to use, with no unnecessary functions or complex menus. Ultimately, the M-System provides photographers with the opportunity to focus on the essential: the images.
All objectives are characterized by the remarkable compactness combined with an enthusiastic light, although having been designed without compromise for a good image quality even from the opening f / 1.4. In photographing with natural light, one has a unique atmosphere with a reduced depth of field.
The Leica TL system follows exclusive principles bringing everything back to the essentials – completely devoted to the pleasure of photography
A clear and precise idea is essential for the very nature of photography. Denying it is not a good way to start, while the merge of intent is. A fusion of style, craftsmanship and ease of management – a symbiosis of all the best. Discover the whole story – and how Leica and Leica TL open completely new roads in the world of photography.
