Roman Passion?
Not far away from the Scarlino Yacht Marina & Residences, lies the town of Massa Marittima and the Cathedral of San Cerbone, home to the moving Maesta, attributed to Duccio di Buoninsegna (1316). A little further, you find the interesting Fonti dell’Abbondanza, the oldest water source of Massa Marittima, with the peculiar fresco "Tree of Fertility" from 1265 on its walls, a place of pilgrimage for expectant mothers.
