Caffè dell'Oro

Dine in bistro style.

Lungarno Collection Executive Chef

Peter Brunel

Starred Executive Chef Peter Brunel designs the bistro-style menus served up at Caffè dell’Oro. Discover his creative menus and delight in light and vibrant reinterpretations of traditional dishes from Italy’s regions.

All Day Dining

An all-day menu that offers you all you could ever want

The Caffè dell’Oro will be your breakfast kitchen first thing in the morning, your restaurant for a light lunch, and the setting for a gourmet dinner in the evening – a delightful gastronomic experience.

But the Caffè dell’Oro is also there for you for that most traditional of Italian breaks – a mid-morning espresso – and in the afternoon for tea and cake, fresh from the oven, as well as in the evening for a pre-dinner aperitif and an after-dinner top-quality cognac or Tuscan herbal tea.

Food concept

A gourmet personality

With a splendid view over the Ponte Vecchio, the Caffè dell’Oro offers the very best of Tuscan and Italian cuisine.

Whether it’s a genuine ‘espresso’ coffee or a light lunch, or perhaps a delicate snack or a romantic dinner inspired by seasonal flavours.

The menu that our chefs concoct each season is fresh and with light but flavoursome ingredients, grown by the best organic producers from every region of Italy.

The happiness of our guests is the best celebration

The Caffè dell’Oro salon with its warm and welcoming atmosphere is the perfect setting for a range of small special events. A birthday dinner with friends. A cocktail party. A wedding breakfast. A business dinner.

The kitchen is very flexible and can adapt to any suggestion or desire. The intimacy is that of a private venue. All our guests need to do to be happy is lift their eyes and see the Ponte Vecchio and Florence.

Special Features

Mother Earth, our raw material.

The ingredients we use in our dishes reflect our immense love for Italy and its unique flavours.

This is why – exclusively for Florence – one of our most important suppliers is Valis, a first-class world leader in organic produce, like Grigio del Casentino ham, Chianina beef from Fracassi, eggs from Paolo Parisi and Verrigni pasta, made to a traditional recipe that dates back to 1898.

And what do these ingredients give rise to when used together?
Well, by way of example, a Caprese salad with fior di latte and buffalo mozzarella and burrata, rounded off perhaps with a tiramisù and cantucci biscuits and a glass of vin santo, just to whet the appetite and spark the curiosity of our guests.
